Remove User Access
Welcome to our user documentation, which provides you with a comprehensive guide on how to effectively remove user access within our system. Managing user access is a crucial aspect of system administration, ensuring that only authorized individuals have the right level of access to your organization's resources.
The steps are as follows:
Log in to the CI App: Access your CI App account by visiting https://ci.zapyan.com/login.
Select Your Business: To view user management overview for a specific business, click on the "View Dashboard" button associated with that business.
Access the User menu On the left side of the screen, click on the shop menu and then click on the user menu icon as shown below
4. Use the search bar to find the specific user you wish to remove.
5. In the search results, identify the user and navigate to the "Action" column.
6. Under the "Action" column, click on the settings icon (represented as a gear or cogwheel).
7. From the dropdown menu that appears, select the "Remove Access" option.
8. Confirm your removal request by clicking the 'REMOVE ACCESS' button within the ensuing notification
Tips
Clear Role Definitions: Clearly define user roles and access levels within your organization. This ensures that each user has appropriate permissions based on their responsibilities.
Regular Audits: Periodically review and audit user accounts to ensure that access levels and permissions are up-to-date and align with the user's current role and responsibilities.
Least Privilege Principle: Follow the principle of least privilege, which means granting users the minimum level of access necessary to perform their tasks. This reduces the risk of unauthorized access.
User Onboarding and Offboarding: Implement a structured onboarding and offboarding process for employees. Grant access when they join and promptly revoke access when they leave the organization.
Access Revocation Workflow: Establish a clear workflow for access revocation in cases of role changes, termination, or other situations. Ensure that access is revoked promptly and securely.
